Michele began her career in the financial planning industry in 2009 and recently transitioned from a national RIA to join CalmWater Financial Group®. She completed the necessary training and exams to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional in 2022. Michele continued her education and received her master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning with a Behavioral Finance emphasis through The College for Financial Planning in October 2024. She also maintains her Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 investment licenses and is also licensed for life and health insurance in Nebraska. Michele works closely with the Advisors and their clients to deliver exceptional client service and comprehensive financial planning solutions.
Michele grew up in Iowa and earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and communications from Morningside College. After marrying her husband, Troy, who is a journeyman electrician at Miller Electric through IBEW Local 22, they settled down in Gretna, Nebraska to start their family.
In her free time, Michele loves to go camping, hiking, and fishing with her family. Her husband and son build and drive demolition derby cars, so when they aren’t camping spring through fall, Michele will always be in the stands cheering on #5 and #5JR.
