Recently, CalmWater Cares supported the Northeast Nebraska chapter of the Mid America Council of Cub Scouts’ end of year awards event that was held at the Norfolk, NE movie theater. Each child that sold popcorn to raise funds for scouting was given a free ticket to the movie Wonka. After the movie, awards were given to the kids that sold the most popcorn. The purpose of Scouts selling popcorn is so that all kids receive an equal opportunity to be a part of Scouting. The amount of community service, community improvement projects and veterans’ programs that these Scouts volunteer their time to deserves to be celebrated! The Scouts and families were very grateful and all signed a Thank You card for CalmWater Financial and CalmWater Cares.
