ArtistsDRIVEN! is a workshop program that the Norfolk Arts Center is excited to bring back for the school year. This program has been built to create one of a kind artistic experiences for any and all high school students in and around Norfolk– Just like YOU. Students will get to participate in uniquely well-rounded art workshops led by practicing local artists. You will have the opportunity to try drawing, painting, sculpture casting, printmaking, wood carving, and more! ArtistsDRIVEN! is for students of all artistic levels, passions, and skills.

According to one of the many students that participate in the ArtistsDRIVEN! program, “I got to experience a lot of different art mediums, skills, and projects… I got to meet a lot of artists and other students with similar interests as me…” After graduating high school and finishing her first year of college, she returned to NAC to intern. “My internship taught me numerous new skills and perspectives on art and the people involved in it that will benefit me all throughout my future.”

As we reflect on our year of giving, CalmWater is very lucky to partner with amazing programs like ArtistsDRIVEN! and to help aspiring artists claim a future in the arts.
